New Short Story for Children written by: Daniel Sanchez.

John was a very nice and educated child with all children from school, and they also liked him.

One day, a new student came to his class, was called Mathew, he was a bit shy at the beginning, but made some friends as time passed.

John noticed later that Mathew was a very good student, so began to hang out with him at break time, in class, to do their homework, even during the exams.

 

 

They were a good team, and after some time, became best friends.

When the last school year finished, Mathew and John were very good friends, and it was time to say goodbye to all their class mates, and to each other because they had different goals.

Mathew said goodbye to John, they cried because were very close, were best friends and knew it was time to separate, so their last words were the next:

“My friend John, I am really thankful to you for everything you did for me, for giving me your friendship. During all these years, I have really considered you as my very best friend I have ever had in my life.

It´s time to say goodbye, we both have different plans, so I want to give you this chain with an “M” ,which is the initial of my name, written on it, in order to remember me always, and remember this strong friendship“.

“Mathew, I am also thankful for all the affection you gave me, you are and will always be my best friend. I want you and your future family to be happy. I want you to know that you will always be my friend; and we should forget any problems we might have.

Now we just have to see our good characteristics and values. Mathew I wish the best for you, to have a nice life and everything goes good to you, I wish you to be happy during your whole life”.

Mathew and John had a moody farewell, and took a picture as a memory of that last day.

Moral of the Short Story: Value those friends who care about you. Get away from bad companies. If we have any problem with a friend, resolve it peacefully and forget it.
