ARTHUR AND THE MONSTERS

Short Story for boys and girls written by: Valenzuela Fox (7 years old).

Once upon a time there was a kid called Arthur who went to collect halloween sweets. He dressed up as a pirate and, after finishing asking for sweets, went home.

Arthur went to his room after dinner, took his teddy bear and fell asleep. His parents wished him good night and kissed him happily to sleep.

While sleeping, a noise gave him a start and he woke up. Arthur looked under the bed and there on the floor was a giant! But Arthur was not scared.

Well, many years ago, a kid called Lolo, who really liked short stories, decided to collect all the Halloween stories he knew in one book which he called “Halloween Stories”.

He began to collect the stories when he was only five years old in an old parchment book. In spite of being only five, he remembered at least ten stories about Halloween that his parents had told him.

KING GHOST

Ghosty was the king of the ghosts and everybody in his kingdom admired him. He was the best, the most handsome and the wisest ghost they had.

They all wanted to support him. Every morning lots of volunteers were at the door of his castle waiting to help him and so he was never alone as he always had someone to do things for him.

One cloudy day Claudia decided to change her route to school and pass in front of an enchanted house, known by everybody in town.

Her grandmother had told her scary stories about the house when she was younger, and had warned her never to approach the house. But Claudia was very curious and couldn´t avoid the temptation of walking passed the house and looking into it.

THE CURSED CAMPSITE

Every year, the Smith family went on holiday to their favourite campsite which was near to a beach.

But one year they saw something really strange when they arrived. All the huts and bungalows looked filthy and deserted. They were full of spider webs and the water in the pool was totally green.
