The princess was in love with a young man, she always saw him from her high tower. He was really handsome, with dark hair, clear eyes, pallid skin and smiling all the time. He seemed not to have any worries, he was happy.
Apparently, he was a young boy from a village who once carried packages in a wheelbarrow. Although being poor and being a peasant he always worked with a big smile on his face.

Once upon a time, there were two friends called Vela and Lily, who were always together until one day, due to a study commission in class, Vela was sent to sit beside another girl who was called Poppy.
They soon laughed together, and when Lily went to Vela´s house she was with Poppy, laughing and playing. Poppy didn´t even noticed when Lily arrived. So Lily went home really sad, looked at the picture of them playing in the park, then went to bed and didn´t want anything.
Vela called her and said:
– “Hi Lily, can I go to your house? Poppy just left and I want to see you. My mum told me you were at home”.

…One day, before finishing the school year, a Count came to the school to announce that there was going to be a ball in the palace, in honour of the new graduates and that they must attend without exception.
The Girls in school went crazy. They started to call the best dressmakers to make the dresses of wealthy students before the ball. They wanted to be radiant because they all knew that the Count had a handsome son and that no girl in town had ever conquered him, so now was their chance.

There was a beautiful tiger girl who liked to walk around the jungle.
One day, as she was playing with her friend the owl, she moved further away and between one game and the next lost the trail of her way back home.
The frightened owl looked for her but could not find her. Meanwhile the little tiger girl ran and ran from one place to another trying to find her way back.

Philip, the naughty sea wolf is really worried. Sitting on the sand, legs up, he thinks and thinks. Why isn’t the sky as blue as before? When was the last time that the seagull Vonda visited him? Why can´t he swim free?

There was a boy called John who really loved going to the beach. One day he went with all his family to spend the day on a beach nearby.
He enjoyed playing on the sand and in the water so much and was very happy to be there that day.
He was so happy that he could not stop smiling, rolling around in the sand and splashing around in the water, jumping and laughing without pause.

…The merchant was shocked, he thought the hen was offended and turned around to leave the yard, but Jewel’s mother with shiny, coffee coloured feathers stopped him. She was the same height and with small legs like Jewel and she held her daughter´s hand.
She asked the merchant: “How much are the stilts? Is it true that they will make Jewel´s legs longer?”.
And the merchant said: “It´s true!” People from the circus use them to be taller and to impress the audience. This is the way, they can all see their pirouettes”.

Once upon a time…
There was a town called “Memory”, with colourful houses, perfumed flowers and fruit trees. Where the birds were plentiful, trilling every morning bringing happiness to their visitors.
People in the town were used to having hens, pigs or turkeys in their courtyards depending on what they preferred to eat. As is normal, there were big houses for rich people, as well as smaller houses.
There was a very grand corner house which had a big courtyard and a yard full of hens with a fence around it facing the street, so visitors could see them and give them food.

Once upon a time there was a girl called Lily who was in her first year of elementary study. It was her first day at school and a new girl arrived. Her skin was white, she had straight hair, was Catholic and her name was Mayte.
Lily was very shy, so it was Mayte who took the initiative to talk to her.
Lily had dark skin and curly hair and was also a Catholic. Both became best friends, in spite of their differences.
