Brenda had been watching TV all day long and then she fell asleep. She began to dream that she was flying over fields and that she met a butterfly called Lily.
Lily showed Brenda beautiful places. They played together and became very good friends.

Daniel lived with his parents and his nanny Joana, in a beautiful house in front of the park. But he was never in the park. His parents were always working and he preferred to be at home studying rather than outside playing. He used to spend too much time in his home library while Joana did the housework.
Daniel was actually very sad, as for most of the day he was alone with Joana. His parents were never at home and this frustrated him. Joana was always trying to motivate the boy to go out and play with the other kids, but he used to ignore her. He knew that he would have fun with them, but he was never in the mood to go.
Mery was a five year old girl who only had two worries, her parents and her rag doll.
She really loved her rag doll, so much so that she needed to have it with her at every moment.

One day very early in the morning a couple of bees were waiting for their daughter to be born.
Daddy and Mummy bee couldn´t wait to see the face of their little baby. Everything was ready for her arrival. The bees had prepared a room full of toys and sweets, where they were going to have lots of fun with their daughter.
Once upon a time there was a huge bear living on the outskirts of New York.
He was a harmless bear, that had grown up there so everybody knew him and he could hang around the place with no problem. His name was Kuba and he had lots of friends all over the city.
There was a girl called Carrie who felt different to the other children in her class. Her skin was white and delicate and her hobbies weren´t the same as the other girls.
Her dream was to become a famous singer, but the rest of the pupils didn´t take her seriously.
There were lots of animals living happily in a forest, but then a group of children appeared and began to live there too.
Their leader was Mark who was very authoritarian. Anna was his friend, although they didn’t always agree with each other.

In a little town near a river lived a nice crocodile who everybody ignored. People were nice and happy except when with him.
An old woman always disturbed him and the rest of the animals used to blame him for everything, even if it wasn´t his fault.
There was an old man living in a village up in the mountains called Earnest who took care of his granddaughter Jane while her parents worked in the fields.
Earnest had no friends because of his grumpy reputation. Nobody wanted to be near him as they thought he was a grouch of a man.
Jane was very sad about this because she knew how kind and nice her grandpa was. So, she decided to visit the “Dream Tree” high up on the hill, and make a wish.
“I would like my grandfather to smile more. This way everyone will know how nice and kind he is”.
The following morning, when Jane woke up and saw her grandfather preparing breakfast she didn´t notice any change and so assumed that her wish had not been granted.
But on the way to school a woman greeted them, and Earnest smiled back: “Good morning!”- he said. Jane was shocked, as her wish had been fulfilled. as her grandfather was smiling at everybody.
Everybody was very surprised and realised how wrong they had been and knew that it is not fair to judge anyone before getting to know them.
From that day on, everybody in town had affection for Earnest who became known as the smiling grandpa.

He had been a very special baby since birth. He needed to sleep with the light on, he was hungry in the middle of the night, and he had always had three pacifiers near his cot to make sure that a pacifier was always nearby.
